Knowledge Check
Review what you've learned. Select a question to reveal the answer.
1. Why should you research customer needs before creating a product?
Research helps identify whether a product solves a real problem, what features buyers value, and how similar products are presented.
2. What is the difference between revenue and profit?
Revenue is sales income. Profit is the amount remaining after applicable business expenses and costs.
3. Does a PLR or MRR license automatically make a product eligible for Etsy?
No. You must follow both the product license and Etsy's current seller and creativity policies.
4. What should an effective product description explain?
What the product includes, its purpose, relevant file formats, and what the customer can expect to receive.
5. Why should you test a digital download before selling it?
Testing helps confirm that the file opens, is usable, and matches the listing description.
